For some people, living in a liquor store is an absolute dream come true. However, did you know that a very special feline is actually living that dream? 

Yup, you’ve read that right! A black rescue kitty named Betty managed to find her furever home in a Liquor Barn In Oklahoma City and purrsue a career as a wine connoisseur. Well, sort of. 

According to Amanda, Betty’s owner, this lucky feline used to be a stray until one day she stumbled across Amanda’s doorstep. She said: 

“Every time I opened my door, she was running in. So I told one of the owners about Betty, and he let me bring her up here. And the rest is history.”

Believe it or not, Betty absolutely loves her unconventional home. She lives in this Oklahoma store 24/7, gets along well with all the employees and customers, and has no problem navigating through bottles of wine, beer, and spirits.

Don’t think Betty’s there just to be pretty. No, no, my friend! She’s also one of the employees – and a pretty darn good one, too. One of her coworkers described her as a “morale booster”, while another said:

“She’s always down to help check out customers and bag items, so she’s a big help around here.”  

One of Betty’s specialties is cardboard box tasting. I’m sure she can easily identify the box of alcoholic drinks in front of her after taking one single bite. Just look at how adorable she looks as she munches on the box of High Noon Tequila Seltzer:

Although Betty confidently steps over countless bottles of alcoholic beverages and regularly lounges behind them, she has managed to avoid breaking any of them so far. Can you believe that? She is obviously a true purrfessional.

As mentioned above, Betty is a full-time liquor store resident. 

She has her bed, food, water bowls, and a litter box. She doesn’t get into any trouble while the rest of the employees are gone – and actually seems to enjoy being on her own at night. 

I guess working hard every day exhausts her, and that’s why she appreciates the peace and quiet of the dark and empty store.

Betty has won the hearts of many and so far has more than 7 thousand followers on her official TikTok account.
