At the animal shelter, a cheerful ginger cat gestures to everyone he sees in the hopes that they will take him home.
Mayhem, a lovely 2-year-old ginger tabby who was searching for a home for the second time, was discovered at Lollypop Farm, an animal welfare group in Fairport, New York.
“Mayhem was abandoned by his owner and made his way to Lollypop Farm for the first time in early June. He was adopted, but regretfully returned to the shelter since his new family wasn’t a good fit, Lollypop Farm told Love Meow.
The energetic ginger youngster is constantly looking for something to play with. This boisterous cat personifies a highly active body and has a huge, feisty attitude.
Staff has stocked Mayhem’s apartment with a variety of toys and entertaining pursuits to keep him amused as he waits for his ideal home. Lollypop Farm said, “He has a huge cat colony all to himself, full of cat toys, cardboard boxes, towers to climb, etc.
“Mayhem paws at the glass door leading into his toy-filled realm as staff members pass by, seemingly inviting them to come inside and play with him. And rest certain that we will.
This astute and persuasive tabby persistently beckons to his humans. Every time he requests their attention, staff members lack the heart to refuse. Nothing makes Mayhem happier than interacting with people and playing in between naps.
He requires a lot of stimuli to remain active because he is quite energetic. Although we are aware that there is a cat lover out there yearning for a snarky cat just like him, he may not be the appropriate sort of cat for everyone.
Mayhem may express affection by playing with his human buddies. To show him that he is loved, staff workers converse and play with him alternately. The ginger lad gives the greatest cat amusement in return for the favor.
This dapper boy exemplifies the ginger cattitude, where playtime is his ultimate objective and he longs for human contact.
