The strongest ties can occasionally be formed through strange friendships. That certainly seems to apply to these two. A little chipmunk made the decision one day to venture into someone’s yard on an adventure. He unintentionally wandered into a cat’s territory. The cat laid down on the ground to prove to the scared chipmunk that he is nice and harmless.
The chipmunk responded to the cat’s friendly gesture by quickly making a tiny hop and delicately landing on top of the animal. They relaxedly cuddled, and it was the beginning of their new, unexpected friendship.
