The long arm of the law successfully removed two young kittens from an unexpected hiding location, and they now have a new home.
The fluffy siblings were hiding behind the car’s bumper when a woman approached Officers Hillard and Adkins for assistance. They just so happened to be passing by.
They jumped to the ground to have a better look at the two stowaways and were glad to help.
The woman was unsure of how the two little stray animals entered her car.
Adkins was able to gently bring the kittens out by reaching inside.
Although they were meowing loudly, the kittens didn’t appear to be wounded.
Adkins had just received the South District Officer of the Year Award, a coveted honor.
He had the opportunity to bring home a stunning prize at that moment.
He was going to bring home two little kittens, which would be even more lovely.

Adkins first took the brother and sister to the veterinarian to make sure everything was well.
They needed to be thoroughly examined because they were obviously quite little.
The kittens didn’t stop snuggling with Adkins during the entire trip to the veterinarian.
Adkins bottle-fed the ravenous duo in the clinic, where he discovered they were just 6 weeks old.
There was no chance Adkins could abandon the couple at this point. He wouldn’t let them go since they had found a cozy place in his heart.
Adkins was permitted to take the kittens home after the veterinarian gave him the go-ahead.
Adkins had a wonderful idea for the names of the new members of his family when the time came: TJ and Max.
Because, as luck would have it, Adkins had simply been investigating a theft allegation at a nearby store called, you guessed it, Tj Maxx, when he happened to be strolling past the automobile that day.
The three were brought together by shoplifting, but all these adorable people have taken are hearts.
The adorable couple is finally as safe as they possibly be as they are living with Adkins and his family.
