According to her grandson, in the final hours of her life, she just wanted to see and hold her best friend, Oliver the cat, just one more time. Hospital staff knew that the woman had no more than a few days left to live, so they allowed the family to bring the cat to say goodbye. And her grandson did everything to make her wish come true.

He would not stop rubbing against her and looking at her with a worried expression, as if he knew he was nearing the end. However, the smile on her face shows that Oliver brought her comfort in her final moments.
