Seven years old Madden from Oklahoma is a very special boy, he was born with a cleft lip (also called schisis) and eyes with two different colors (minnows). Sadly little Madden was often bullied at school because of his appearance.
Christina Humphreys, Madden’s mother talked about his harassment at Love What Matters website. Christina and Madden decided that it would be a good thing to talk about it, therefore they made a film peel last year against bullying, which went viral. It seemed that this movement was right, because since then Madden has found his old self again.
On a Facebook page for mothers of children with schisis, Christina saw a photo of a shelter cat, which also have a cleft lip but also exactly the same minnow eyes as Madden. Christina and her husband immediately decided to adopt this unique cat. The drove 1500 km to get the little kitten, which was in the state of Minnesota.
They are both very unique!
Madden decided to name the cat “Moon”. Moon really helped him realise that he is not different from the other people, he is just very special. Madden and Moon are now best friends!
