Being a cat lover and an advocate for animal rights, it’s shocking to me that some people can abandon their pets, treating them as if they were disposable. It’s a sad reality for too many animals, cats in particular. 

While I wish I could rescue every abandoned feline in the world, it’s unfortunately beyond my power. But thankfully, for every person who abandons a pet, there’s someone with a huge heart ready to step in.

Enter Chloe, the hero of our story. A few months back, she found a stunning white cat abandoned in her neighborhood and decided to take action. 

When Chloe saw the white feline, she noticed it was in pretty bad shape. The cat was scared and had traces of green paint on the fur of its head. 

Despite its initial hesitation, the cat warmed up to Chloe, who then took it home, offering food, water, and the affection it desperately needed.

According to Chloe, the cat used to belong to her awful neighbors who got evicted from their house. Due to their circumstances, they left their cat without making arrangements for its new living situation.

To set the record straight, Chloe shared the story on TikTok, explaining:

“I did not take the cat from previous owners, they got evicted and left the cat locked up in a house with no food or water for 4 days, she escaped through a broken window (hence the cut on her nose) and ran out the front to me! I then went next door and the house was empty, nothing but filth and rubbish.”

Assuming the cat was a girl, Chloe named her Eve and took to TikTok to share her story with her followers: 

Demonstrating her commitment as a conscientious cat owner, Chloe took Eve to the veterinarian for a thorough check-up. 

Upon confirming that her new furry friend was in excellent health, Chloe received surprising news – Eve was actually male. 

Undeterred, she opted to retain the name she had originally chosen for him. 

Additionally, the vet informed Chloe that the green hue on Eve’s head was permanent and recommended allowing it to naturally grow out over time.

In the subsequent days, the connection between Chloe and Eve deepened even further. Eve underwent another vet appointment, during which he was neutered and microchipped – responsible steps that Chloe wholeheartedly embraced. 

Eve demonstrated a playful and affectionate nature, readily returning the love bestowed upon him by his devoted new owner. 

Chloe spared no effort in providing Eve with everything a cat could desire – fulfilling his needs with care and generosity, offering him a life he had never known before.
