Cat Knows Exactly What to Do When Soldier Owner Returns Home

I absolutely adore watching reunion videos between soldiers and their pets, especially when it involves a cat or dog welcoming their human home after a long time apart. The connection between them speaks volumes, even without words, and it’s heartwarming to witness the pure joy animals feel when they reunite with their loved ones.

If you’ve ever had less-than-pleasant experiences with cats, you might be skeptical about how affectionate they can be. While many videos exist showing cats being aloof, there are also plenty that reveal their softer, more loving side. One particular video that stands out is that of Finn the Ragdoll cat, who is about to prove just how much cats can care, rivaling the affection often associated with dogs.

Finn, also fondly called Finners or ‘Ners, is a fluffy, long-haired Ragdoll. He stars in a heartwarming reunion video that runs for just over a minute and a half, but has captured the attention of over 12 million viewers. As the video begins, Finn can be heard meowing excitedly. The woman filming asks, “Who’s coming? Do you hear him?” The tension builds as sounds from outside the room—shuffling and footsteps—become more noticeable.

Moments later, she adds, “It’s Daddy, isn’t it?” Finn’s excitement grows, clearly recognizing the signs that his dad is near. Finally, Nick, Finn’s dad and a soldier, enters the room, and Finn wastes no time sniffing Nick’s belongings and circling him in anticipation. Nick then opens his arms wide, and without a second thought, Finn leaps into them, wrapping himself in a snug embrace.

The video even features a cameo by another cat named Boo, a Siamese, who also seems eager to welcome Nick home. However, the main focus remains on Finn and his heartwarming reunion with his dad, full of purrs and cuddles.

A horrific case of animal cruelty and domestic violence unfolded last year in Fargo, North Dakota. The details are disturbing and tragic. The abuser was sentenced to prison, but we must ensure he never terrorizes another person or animal again.

This emotional video has touched the hearts of millions, even managing to convert some dog lovers into cat enthusiasts. Finn’s playful and affectionate behavior continues to delight his fans, proving that he’s not only adorable but also full of love and personality.
