The current possessor obtained this 1967 Ford Mustang GT fastback in 2012. Subsequently, in 2019, Classic Recreations, based in Flower Mound, Texas, made several modifications. These alterations included a comprehensive process involving body refinishing, interior updates, and the replacement of components such as the wiring harness, fuel system, multiple body panels, and suspension parts. Additionally, they installed a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine, a Tremec six-speed manual transmission, a 9-inch rear axle, and a bespoke audio system.
The car’s exterior is coated in white and complemented by black leather upholstery. Noteworthy features consist of a boxed K-frame, tubular front control arms, a Chassisworks G-link rear suspension, adjustable coilovers from QA1, 17″ American Racing wheels, Wilwood disc brakes, MTF headers, Magnaflow mufflers, a Be Cool aluminum radiator, gauges from Classic Instruments, a Kenwood touchscreen infotainment system, as well as a Kicker amplifier and speakers. This particular Mustang fastback is currently available for sale by a dealer, accompanied by manufacturer’s documentation, an Elite Marti report, a copy of the window sticker, a receipt from Classic Recreations, and a New Jersey title.
The body was stripped in 2019 and multiple replacement body panels were installed before the car was repainted in white in 2019. Features include a vented hood, black rocker panel stripes, chrome bumpers, bullet-style mirrors, a black tail panel, quarter panel vents, and a dual outlet exhaust that exits below the rear valance.
The staggered 17″ American Racing wheels are mounted with Nitto NT55 G2 tires measuring 225/45 up front and 255/40 out back. The car is fitted with a boxed K-member, tubular front control arms, a Chassisworks G-link rear suspension, QA1 adjustable coilovers, and power steering. Braking is handled by Wilwood four-piston calipers over drilled and slotted rotors at all four corners. An E-stopp push-button handbrake system has been installed.
Bolstered front bucket seats and a rear bench are trimmed in black leather and joined by a color-coordinated dashboard cover, center console, and door panels. Equipment includes a roll bar, air conditioning, a billet shifter handle, stainless steel trim accents, rubber floor mats, a Kenwood touchscreen infotainment system, and a Kicker 600CXA amplifier and speakers with passive crossovers.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a Classic Instruments 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. An AutoMeter voltage gauge and analog clock are mounted in the center stack. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 3k miles, all of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 5.0-liter Coyote V8 was installed and the shock towers were cut out and replaced at Classic Recreations in 2019. Features include a custom air intake tube, a conical air filter, MTF long-tube headers, a Vapor Works fuel pump, and an 18-gallon fuel cell. Cooling is handled by a Be Cool aluminum radiator with dual electric fans.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Tremec six-speed manual transmission and a 9-inch rear axle with a limited-slip differential and 3.70:1 gears. A dual exhaust system with a cross-over pipe and Magnaflow mufflers has been installed. The underbody was coated during the refurbishment.
The Elite Marti report lists the color scheme, factory equipment, build statistics, and a production date of May 23, 1967.
