There was this dog that someone found lying on the side of the road in a bad condition. It seemed like the dog was barely alive. Luckily they found him in time because he probably wouldn’t have made it much longer. They rushed him to an animal hospital immediately.
This little guy was so underweight weighing 15 pounds when he should have weighed, between 35 to 45 pounds. After three days at the hospital he was placed with a caregiver. In those days you could really see how determined he was to keep going. By the end of the week he could stand on his own. Even take short walks!
As he gained strength and became healthier his fur started growing revealing his appearance. Eventually they found a home, for him with Megan and her husband who already had two other dogs. Its heartwarming to see how well Tig fits into their family! 🙂
