1956 Chevrolet Bel Air 2-Door Convertible

This 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air two-door convertible was refurbished by the seller’s father beginning in 2013 and was acquired by the seller in 2022. Work has included a repaint in red and white as well as reupholstering the color-matching two-tone interior and replacing the 265ci V8. Shifting is via a two-speed automatic transmission, and additional equipment includes a power-operated white convertible top, 15″ body-color steel wheels, chrome bumpers, and a split-folding front bench seat. This Bel Air convertible is now offered with a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name.

The car left the factory finished in two-tone India Ivory and Matador Red. It underwent refurbishment and was repainted in the 2010s while in possession of the seller’s father, and the power-operated white convertible top was replaced at this time. Additional exterior details include twin wind splits, hooded headlights, a fuel filler concealed above the left taillight, and chrome bumpers and trim. A split is noted in one of the top seams and the power-operated convertible top only lowers three-fourths of the way down.
