This story speaks about a 52-year-old elephant called Thong Bai who was forced for forty years to entertain tourists.
The poor animal lived in harsh conditions stuck in his chains for almost his whole life. The Thai bull elephant had participated in many events such as weddings, advertisements, films, which made him an animal celebrity.
But recently, he hadn’t been living a star lifestyle as his front 2 legs were tethered to a pole inside a cage using chains!
Thankfully, the elephant was finally rescued by animal rescuers and he has tasted his freedom for the first time. Watch the video below.
