Blind And Deaf Dog No One Wanted Now Looks After Every Sick Foster Animal His Human Brings Home
Life was never easy for a sweet dog named Sherio, but despite all difficulties he never allowed himself to lose his kind spirit.
The sweet dog knows the struggle of coming to a new home, though he now has one this wasn’t the case always.
The sweet pooch is not only deaf but also partially blind, this made it difficult for him to find a forever home.
Sherio lived in two shelters and 12 foster homes, he also got adopted 4 times but the families always brought him back.
The dog eventually met Sheryl Smith who was ready to take the dog with all their flaws.
The woman already had a history of caring for animals in need and when she met Sherio she knew that she had to adopt him.
The sweet pooch is so happy having a family again that loves and accepts him, he now wants to express joy to everyone.
The dog gives love to the animals that Smith agrees to take home and foster.
Sweet dog tries everything in his power to make the needy animals feel loved and safe.
He gives them kisses, licks and encouragement, he tries to be the center of comfort.
In an interview with the Dodo Smith declared:
”Just after his rescue l rescued a pregnant dog who was too sick to care for her pups, so [Sherio] climbed in with them and started cleaning them. He’s done that with every rescue I take in. He will just sit patiently with the feral cats/kittens and bonds so strongly with them, they trust him before they trust me.”
It’s normal for the Sherio to love and care so much for the foster animals since he was in the same situation too many times.
The dog now is safe and sound in his loving home but still struggles with separation anxiety due to his past.
Smith explained in the interview that “he still to this day cries in the car because he thinks he’s being dropped off somewhere else.”
But Smith along with her family are trying everything they can in growing his confidence.
Smith recently took in a feral cat called Tiny Tolley that was in desperate need of care.
Poor cat was sick and emaciated and the sweet dog always stayed near her to make her feel better.
The sweet boy now uses his past fears to help animals in need, meanwhile enjoying the love and comfort of his new home.
