Meet One Speed Terri, The Cat Who Moseyed Into One Pub & Stayed Forever

One downtown hangout in Bay County, Florida, is drawing in some extra customers thanks to their newest employee—a handsome tabby cat named One Speed Terri.

Not long ago, Terri casually wandered into Mosey’s Downtown, following some patrons as they entered the pub. The friendly cat liked the vibe so much that he decided to join the team at Mosey’s and call the place home. Mosey’s owner Judd Manuel approved of Terri’s idea and connected with his new kitty right away.

Moseyed On In For Forever

Damaged by Hurricane Michael in October 2018, Mosey’s Downtown had just completed construction and reopened its doors when cool cat Terri came sauntering into Judd’s life. It seemed his pub’s new beginning brought with it a feline friend for life. And Judd was happy to welcome Terri home.

But it’s not just Judd’s heart that Terri has stolen. Nearby businesses also enjoy visits from Terri and often invite him for hugs and snuggles. Justin, the owner of the neighboring shop Showcase Tattoo, found himself so charmed by the new cat on the block he built Terri a deluxe place to chill.

“Justin told me, he said ‘man, I’ve been staying up every night thinking about this, I’m so glad you asked I already know exactly what to do, I have a plan.’ And so, he built it to look exactly like Mosey’s,” Judd told WMBB. “I’ve still got to paint it with the original exterior paint, but he did a fantastic job. I did not expect it to be like that.”

Terri was quite pleased with his specially-crafted “Casa de Terri” and welcomes you for a visit!

Hard Working Kitty Keeps It In Gear

But don’t think Terri just lies around soaking up all the attention. He’s a hardworking feline who keeps Mosey’s Downtown in working order with his clerical prowess…

Terri also happily provides taste-testing services too…

And someone has to ensure the furniture stays comfy for patrons, so naps are regularly performed to test for cushiness.

Terri does a fine job with marketing and the media. He’s a natural talent when it comes to interviews.

He may be called One Speed Terri, but this tabby cat knows how to shift gears and help his humans keep the pub in fine condition. He’s also happy to pose for a photo, so if you’re hanging out at Mosey’s Downtown on Grace Avenue in Panama City, FL, and you happen to grab a purrfect picture of the resident barfly feline, be sure to tag it with #onespeedterri so everyone can share in the joy that is tabby cat Terri!
