167 German Shepherds were rescued by heroes from the Atlanta Humane Societyโs Animal Protection Unit. The authorities were contacted about a property in Georgia that kept these poor dogs in horrible conditions.
The pens were filthy, and they stood on 6 inches of mud. None of them were bathed, and they were tightly packed all around the property. Thankfully many rescue shelters stepped up to take in the dogs.
Beetle was nervous and paced around often, but he began to wag his tail and eventually allowed people to pet him. It was rewarding for the rescuers to see his progress.
