The Brothers Collection, reportedly one of the world’s largest repositories of muscle and classic cars, is accessible by invitation only, and Dezzy takes advantage of every minute.
This part of the outing looks at some of the most significant Fords and Pontiacs in a gathering that’s worth as much as $500 million by some accounts. Among the more than 600 vehicles at the museum (with over 350 on display) are also some noteworthy Italian and German examples, which viewers get to see in glimpses.
The video opens with a look at a 1957 Ford Ranchero (0:09). This example of a pioneering ute is a standout for more than just being in pristine condition. It’s only one of two built that year with a factory Paxton supercharger. It’s a significant upgrade to a 5.1-liter Thunderbird Special V8 that offers a supercharged 300 hp and 327 lb-ft of torque. All of this happened before America ever launched its first satellite into space.
Nearby to the Ranchero are numerous other head turners from the Blue Oval. These include a 1966 Galaxie 500 (2:08) with a rare R-code build and an exceptional 1966 F100 Police Interceptor pickup.
