When it comes to finding salvageable classic cars in this day and age, most enthusiasts jump for joy when they discover their latest project came from a region where rain is seldom, and sunshine is aplenty.
However, there’s something to say for crossing the line from having a good thing, and that good thing leading to excess.
Take for instance, the latest episode of Heart of Texas Barn Finds – the automotive YouTube channel (HOTBF) dedicated to finding the best “honey holes” in the South
Arriving at a massive property with dozens of cars, it seems like a place where legendary icons of a bygone era have gone to die, as they spend the remainder of their lives covered in vines and weeds rather than on the road where they belong – a fate that is all too common for classic cars and their hoarder-like owners.
Fortunately for us — and the cars — the properties HOTBF visits tend to be willing to part ways with most of their collection for the right price.

After spotting the collection from the side of the road, the boys turned on the charm when approaching the owner of the property to see if they could document the extensive collection.
After making their way past the turn-of-century vehicles that we consider yard art rather than automobiles, we begin to hold our breath as the vague shape of a 1969 Pontiac GTO comes into view.
