In a new video, the YouTube channel Junkyard and Barn Finds with Sean skips the usual car shows and hidden garages to uncover a treasure trove of vintage Fords.
Instead, presenter Sean Dever heads to classic car dealer Streetside Classics outside of Tampa to see what Blue Oval fans will drool over. Viewers get to see everything from a post-war Lincoln to head-turning first-generation Mustangs.
Glancing At An Amazing Shelby GT500
The opening minutes of the presentation features a most impressive Ford, a 1968 Shelby GT500 convertible. While not a KR (King of the Road) edition, its immaculate presence results from a rotisserie restoration completed in 2012.
Other standout qualities include 40,763 original miles, factory-correct Sunlit Gold Metallic paint over a black interior, and a big-block 428-cubic inch V8. A four-speed manual, power steering, power brakes, front disc brakes, and a power top round out the equipment list.
The only thing not making this car 100% perfect is the replacement engine sitting under the hood. According to the accompanying documentation, the powerplant got replaced under warranty in 1969.
