This 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 was built in December 1969 and was purchased by the seller in 1986. A 2003 refurbishment included rebuilding the 302ci V8 and four-speed manual transmission, repainting the body in green, and refreshing the black vinyl interior. Equipment includes a Traction-Lok differential, a rear spoiler, power steering, 15″ Magnum 500-style wheels, an AM radio, and a heater. This Boss 302 is now offered in Florida with a Marti Report, a build sheet, partial service records, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The car was finished in Grabber Blue from the factory and refinished in green during the 2003 refurbishment. Features include a front spoiler, hockey stick side stripes, dual side mirrors, a rear spoiler, rear window louvers, and dual exhaust outlets.
The 15″ Magnum 500-style wheels are mounted with 235/60 front and 255/60 rear BFGoodrich tires. The car is equipped with power steering and Koni shocks, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The brake master cylinder, brake booster, and front brake lines were replaced in 2003.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench that were reupholstered in black vinyl in 2003. Additional work included the replacement of the carpets, headliner, dash pad, and heater core, and the repainting of the interior panels. Interior appointments include manual crank windows, an AM radio, and a Hurst shifter.
The steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer along with ancillary gauges including coolant temperature, oil pressure, amperage, and fuel-level. The five-digit odometer shows 90k miles, approximately 5k of which were added under current ownership.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a rebuilt Traction-Lok differential. The seller states that 3.91:1 gearing was fitted.
The factory build sheet, a window sticker, service records, and two keys are included in the sale.
