Cat Caring For Her Own Kittens And Nine Others Gets Her Wish Come True After 99 Days
When this sweet feline arrived at the rescue with her two kittens, she had no idea she would end up staying there for an extended period.
However, during that time, she got the chance to take her caring nature to a whole new level.
Tina, a 2-year-old cat, arrived at the shelter with her two kittens. She was very sweet but also extremely protective of her little ones.
Upon arriving at the shelter, the entire furry family received the necessary care and began waiting for a brighter future. However, their wait was soon interrupted by an urgent call about a litter of kittens in desperate need of help.
One morning, the shelter received a call about kittens in need of a nursing mom. Their mom was being treated at the vet clinic and couldn’t care for them. That was when Tina amazed everyone with her strong maternal instincts.
Without hesitation, she took half of the litter under her wing, while another kitty named Tushy cared for the rest. The shelter shared in an interview:
“She was nursing her own babies as well as the foster kittens she took in. She wouldn’t let us touch her or her babies.”
Both Tina and Tushy took great care of the kittens, including their own. They shared their responsibilities and turned out to be a great team.
What warmed everyone’s hearts was how Tina’s kittens accepted the new ones. They were a few weeks older and took great care of the younger kittens, constantly bathing them and cuddling with them.
Tina treated all the kittens equally, providing each one with love, care, and attention. As the kittens grew, the furry family was moved to a larger room, where Tina could watch the kittens grow, play, and learn how to be cats.
With Tina’s guidance, all the kittens quickly learned how to eat on their own, use the litter box, and play safely.
Despite being a wonderful mother, Tina had one wish – to find someone who would love her unconditionally. As time passed, her kittens began finding their forever homes, but Tina remained at the shelter, patiently waiting for her turn.
Days turned into weeks with no one showing interest in adopting her. Despite that, she remained sweet and patient and continued fostering young kittens in need. The shelter added:
“She cleaned them, played with them, and gave them a swat when they were being naughty – she did it all. The best mama around hoped she would soon be chosen as someone’s baby.”
Finally, after spending almost 99 days at the shelter and caring for a total of 11 kittens, Tina’s lucky day arrived.
A kind-hearted woman heard about Tina and wanted to meet her. Tina affectionately greeted the woman, and it was simply love at first sight.
That day, Tina finally found her happiness next to a lovely woman, and now has the chance to become the baby of her own home.
