Shelter Cat Named Espresso, Often Overlooked Due to Her Different-Sized Eyes

Every animal in a shelter dreams of the day they find a loving, permanent home. However, some animals are consistently overlooked by potential adopters, often through no fault of their own. Sometimes, it’s simply because they look a bit different, which can unfortunately discourage people from choosing them as their new family member.

One such animal is a cat named Espresso, who is currently waiting for her forever home. Despite her sweet nature, Espresso is frequently passed over because of her unusual eyes, which are different sizes.

On August 2, the Ohio SPCA & Humane Society introduced Espresso to the public through a social media post. Interestingly, Espresso’s name was inspired by the popular Sabrina Carpenter song, “That’s that me, espresso.”

SPCA updated that Espresso is now “ADOPTED” and now she found people that will accept her just as she is. The shelter describes her as a “quiet but very friendly girl” who gets along well with other cats and people of all ages.

Those interested in adopting at Ohio SPCA & Humane Society. You can download an adoption form from the shelter’s website and submit it via email to [email protected]. , There are other adoptable cats, that can be visited during the shelter’s open hours: Wednesday through Friday from 2-7 PM, and Saturdays from noon to 4 PM.

Sign Petition Today: The Cruelty By This Man Is Unthinkable.

A horrific case of animal cruelty and domestic violence unfolded last year in Fargo, North Dakota. The details are disturbing and tragic. The abuser was sentenced to prison, but we must ensure he never terrorizes another person or animal again.

The shelter ensures that all their cats, including Espresso, are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped before they go to their new homes.

No animal should be overlooked simply because of their appearance. Espresso is a beautiful and special cat, and we hope she finds a loving home very soon.
