Chris Poole, an animal advocate, has garnered a significant following on YouTube by sharing the delightful escapades of his two beloved cats, Cole and Marmalade. With over 600,000 subscribers, these feline friends have become internet sensations, capturing the hearts of viewers around the world.
However, in a recent video, Chris chose to shift the spotlight from his famous duo to a new group of kittens he had recently rescued. Curious about why these tiny furballs seemed so sleepy during the day, Chris decided to investigate their nighttime antics. To do this, he set up a night vision camera in their enclosure to see what they were up to when the lights went out.
“Hello, cat people! I’ve got some pretty exciting news,” Chris greeted his audience. “We’re currently fostering four very cute kittens that we helped rescue from a nearby abandoned property. And as many of you know, kittens are very playful, active, and just fun to watch. So I’ve decided to set up my night vision camera and see what action I could capture. And I wasn’t disappointed!”
As the video footage revealed, these kittens were anything but sleepy once night fell. Rather than settling down for a nap, the energetic little cats were seen leaping around their cage, playing with one another, and exploring their environment with boundless curiosity. One kitten even attempted to lick the camera, while another showed off its climbing skills on the cage bars. The kittens also used a small box as a launch pad for their playful aerial maneuvers.
In another clip, Chris added a small cat pole to the kittens’ space. Even in the middle of the night, the kittens eagerly reached for the fuzzy balls perched at the top of the pole, resulting in some truly comical footage.
Given that these kittens were recently rescued, they are still getting accustomed to human interaction. Chris is dedicated to helping them adjust, showering them with love and care until they are fully rehabilitated and ready for adoption.
Sign Petition Today: The Cruelty By This Man Is Unthinkable.
A horrific case of animal cruelty and domestic violence unfolded last year in Fargo, North Dakota. The details are disturbing and tragic. The abuser was sentenced to prison, but we must ensure he never terrorizes another person or animal again.
“I’m sure you’ll agree that was some pretty funny stuff,” Chris commented at the end of the video. “These four cuties are still pretty feral. It’s going to take some time for them to get used to us big scary humans, but I’m confident that over time and with lots of TLC (tender loving care), they’ll learn to love us and we’ll get them ready to be adopted out into new forever homes.”
Chris’s video not only entertains but also sheds light on the process of rehabilitating rescued animals, showing that with patience and kindness, even the most timid creatures can learn to trust and thrive in a loving environment.
