This morning, I woke up to see my cat, Urh Oh, sitting on the couch with a face like he had lost his rice book. His eyes were wide, his mouth was agape, and he was staring at something in the distance. I was curious, so I walked over to see what it was.
It turned out that Urh Oh was staring at an empty food bowl. There were only a few cat hairs left in the bowl. Urh Oh had eaten all of his food.
I laughed when I saw Urh Oh’s face. He looked like he had just discovered a major secret. I knew that Urh Oh was a very hungry cat. He ate a lot of food, and he often demanded more. But today, he had eaten all of his food so quickly. That was unusual.
I guessed that Urh Oh had been so hungry that he had eaten all of his food in a hurry. He hadn’t had time to savor the taste of the food, so he had that disappointed look on his face.
I picked up the bowl and poured more food for Urh Oh. Urh Oh saw the new food, and he was overjoyed. He quickly jumped off the couch, ran to the food bowl, and started eating ravenously.
I looked at Urh Oh eating, and I laughed again. I thought that Urh Oh’s disappointed face when he saw the empty food bowl was hilarious. It reminded me of the image of someone coming home from the market, opening their bag, and seeing that it had been emptied by someone.
I decided to take a picture of Urh Oh to keep as a memory. I would show the picture to my friends so they could laugh with me about Urh Oh’s disappointed face.
