Pregnant Dog Adopted From High-Kill Shelter, Gives Birth While On Her Ride To Home

A pregnant dog, who was rescued just in time from being euthanized in a high-kill shelter, did not wait to get home to give birth as she did it in the back of the couple’s vehicle and delivered 6 pups!

According to the president of Poodle and Pooch Rescue, Rebecca Lynch, she received a phone call about the dog in a high-kill shelter in Georgia while she was on vacation in Savannah with her husband.

Lynch also added that Lizzy, the dog, had one of her legs broken badly, and unfortunately, it seemed that it should be amputated! However, the mama dog and all of her puppies are being cared 24/7.
