Kitten Named Egg Gets Hilariously Scrambled By His New Harness

When you adopt a kitten, it’s an exciting time! Right away, the love and snuggles bestowed by kittens are next-level heart-melting. With every day that passes, you fall further in love with the purr baby. And part of the devoted cat parent’s life is preparing their kitten for when they grow into their whiskers and become full-grown cats.

In their days of kittenhood, wee ones learn the skills they’ll carry their whole lives. For some kitties, one of those skills is learning how to walk with a harness and leash. With all things cat, it’s best to start training as young as possible or early on in your relationship if the cat is past its kitten days.

As with any new skill, practice makes purrfect. And that’s what baby Egg needs to remember when it comes to his harness because his first run with the new contraption proved to be the cutest fail ever!

Harness Makes the Little Egg Crack

As a baby British Shorthair, Egg is the cutest little floof who already has his parents wrapped around his tiny paw. And because he’s so cute, they made a TikTok page to celebrate the Life of Egg. And though the sweet kitten has only been giving us content for a couple of weeks now, he’s already amassed more than 112K followers and 3.5 million likes on his vids.

Egg made his quick rise to internet fame thanks to the most adorable video of him trying out his new harness. Simply put, it didn’t go well in the cutest way possible!

In the video that’s captured the love of feline fanciers, we see baby Egg being wrapped into the teeniest harness. The vet told his parents a few minutes a day was an ideal way to start harness training a kitten. And Egg seemed “ready for his first steps.” At first…

After a second of “processing,” kitten Egg’s signals scramble, and he half hops and half flops onto his side!

It’s 26 seconds of pure cute kitten bliss!

Sweet Kitten Boi

When Babie Eggie isn’t training, he loves to spend time curled up inside whatever hoodie one of his parents happens to be wearing. His mom worries her little kitty boi might be too comfy sometimes, getting that “empty head” look kittens get when they’re super sleepy!

But after his power nap, Egg is up and at his adorable ways once again!

Find Egg on TikTok and Instagram to see how he does with further harness training. Plus, following Egg means nonstop kitten cuteness!
