Research Says Cat People Love Their Cats More Than Humans
Many studies indicate cats are good for our mental health. Snuggling, purring, and simply having a furry friend around can make anyone feel better.
A few years ago, Northeastern University conducted a study to understand how people empathize with others, including their pets. They examined 240 students and found that most of them were more sympathetic toward dogs and cats than people.
However, this doesn’t come as a surprise. When we’re feeling down or need a pick-me-up, many of us turn to our cats (or dogs). We scroll through pics of cute cats online or shower our furry friends with affectionate cuddles.
Our cats don’t judge us; they’re simply fantastic friends who seem to magically melt away our problems with their soothing purrs!
Cats Are Great For Our Mental Health
Once again, cats are great for our mental health. I used to think it was only me, but then I realized all cat owners feel the same way. Having our cats around simply makes us feel better.
The vibrations and purring of cats have a remarkably positive impact on our mental and physical health. They help reduce stress, calm us down, lower our blood pressure, and help us relax.
Cats Don’t Actually Judge Us
The bond and friendship a person shares with their cat are unique. One of the best things about them is that they never judge. Your cat couldn’t care less about dirty dishes or messy hair.
They don’t mind if you’ve gained a few pounds or devoured an entire tub of ice cream while watching a movie on the couch. Your cat loves you for who you are and craves your company more than anything else.
They’re always happy to see you and love spending time with you every day.

Losing Our Furriends Can Hurt As Much As Losing A Dear Person
If you’ve ever experienced the loss of a beloved feline companion, you know how heart-wrenching it is to say goodbye.
They leave an irreplaceable void in our lives, leaving us feeling empty and sad. Healing from such a loss feels almost impossible as if we’ve lost a cherished family member.
The pain is agonizing, and the mere thought of losing our cats is unbearable. My cats are a part of my family, and I love them as much as I love my dearest human loved ones.
