When Bored Panda contributor Emilia Kłos lost her cat, Ciri, to FIP, she realized that life was a precious thing that could be taken away at any moment. She says the last days of helping her cat fight through this devastating illness showed her that “every life is worth saving and fighting for.” In fact, Kłos got the urge to head to her local animal shelter in Chojnice, Poland to photograph the cats needing forever homes there. She finds her peace in showcasing their unique personalities and wonderful attributes and helping them find homes where they will be loved and cared for forever. Here are some of our favorites.
