A poor dog was found by the staff of Tunica Humane Society in Mississippi , the poor dogs state was miserable he was abandoned on a cage, and was starving and freezing out in the cold weather, the rescuers got so sad seeing that view in front of them.

Poor dog had bite marks all over his tiny body, near him were still fresh tires on the car of the c.r.u.e.l owner.

The dog was wet and he couldn’t get out of the cage to find shelter from the storm nor to find food to keep him strong.

Sandy Williams of Tunica Humane Society, recalls how after the dog was picked out of cage , you could see she was nearly dying from starvation.

The staff shared a video , when you could see how sad were they when they found the poor puppy on that miserable state, puppies name was Melanie.

“It was January and the dead of winter. It had stormed that night before. Hard freezing rain. The puppy had no way to seek shelter. She was forced to endure the pounding rain all night long in that open field. Her body covered in bite marks and gaping wounds. How could anyone in this world be so cruel to an innocent puppy.”

Melanie story made the staff furious at her previous owner , and they vowed to find him and make him pay.

“Who in the Hell does this…. I am going to do everything in my power to find out. Someone in Tunica County knows something about this…. Someone knows this little dog…,” the post said.

Melanie needed to be warm, so the rescuers wrapped her on a warm blanket and she got all the care she needed at the Tunica Humane Society shelter.

The sweet puppy had great luck, since she soon found a forever home , Baumgardner Family welcomed her into their home, and Melanie had a friend Louie a puppy the family adopted a while back at the same shelter.

“Today Melanie and Louie are bonded at the heart. A fairytale ending for this sweet, little puppy that had endured so much in the first few weeks of her life,” staff shared.
